Panama’s Colon Port Registers A High Growth In Container Volume According to the annual report released by the United Nations’ Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), Panama’s Colon Port has registered an amazing growth of 11 percent with 4.32m teu as compared to 2017. The entire Colon Port complex is comprised of the Colon Container Terminal (CCT), the terminals of the Manzanillo International Terminal - Panama (MIT) and Cristobal. On the other hand, the Pacific Pot complex in Panama includes the PSA-Panama and Balboa. As per the statistical records, the five largest ports in transhipment definitely features the Panama’s Colon Port complex at the top, which is closely followed by Cartagena (Columbia), Kingston (Jamaica), and Santos (Brazil). The Visakha Container Terminal Can Boast Of An Up-To-Date Infrastructure The Visakha Container Terminal has been delivering an exceptional performance since it began its journey with a CAGR of 22 percent .
