India Plans To Soon Develop A Cargo Container Manufacturing Hub At Bhavnagar In Gujarat

Throwing light into the matter, the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has developed a committee to help transform Bhavnagar in Gujarat into a major manufacturing hub for cargo containers. Bhavnagar will soon be responsible for building sturdy steel boxes that will fare well in packing and moving an impressive variety of cargo across vessels, rail and road in the near future. Pushpak Logistics has offered its support by already ordering a few containers and cementing a pilot project at Bhavnagar. According to research, the Container Corporation of India or the largest container rail operator across the country will need an approximate of 2,000-2,500 teus of new containers every single year.
